In four sensational seasons with the Marauders, Carpenter helped power the team to three OUA Championships (2002, 2003, 2005) and one (2004) silver medal.  His impact upon arriving at McMaster was immediate, as Aaron was the 2002 OUA Rookie of the Year on a championship squad that dominated the league over his career.  Along with being named an OUA All-Star three times, Carpenter was the OUA Most Valuable Player in 2003.  He later moved on to the professional ranks in England, while also playing with the Canadian National Team. Aaron represented Canada at the Rugby World Cup in 2007, 2011, and 2015, and he broke the Canadian record for international caps with his 77th appearance for Canada in 2017.
