MARAUDERS IN THE TOP TEN - NOVEMBER 13

McMaster has five teams in the CIS Top Ten Rankings, including the cross country teams in their final rankings of the season. Men's volleyball remains at No. 3 and both swimming teams hold their spots as well.

The women's cross country team finished the 2012 season on November 10 with a CIS silver medal. Top finisher for the Marauders was Victoria Coates (Newmarket, Ont.) who won her first individual CIS Cross Country medal, taking the bronze with a time of 17:31.4 and earning her CIS First-Team All-Canadian status. Representing the men's team well was Lionel Sanders () who was named a CIS Second-Team All-Canadian when he finished 11th in the 10km race on Saturday. They finished the season at No. 6.

McMaster's men's volleyball remained atop the OUA standing this week with two 3-0 wins over Ryerson and Toronto. The Marauders have yet to lose a set this season and remain at the No. 3 spot tied with Manitoba. They take on the Guelph Gryphons on Friday, November 16 and the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, November 18, as they look to stay perfect.

The men's and women's swim teams at McMaster round out the university's representation this week in the CIS Top Ten. Holding their rankings from the previous week, McMaster's women's team ranks at No. 8 and as the highest ranked OUA team. On the men's side, they stay at No. 10, coming in as the second highest ranked OUA team, just one spot below the Ottawa Gee-Gees.
